Meet Gunnar: The Golden Knight of the Alps (and the Aso-Line)
The BMW F900XR is a masterclass in German "Active Touring." It’s built for the rider who demands precision, speed, and a touch of luxury. Dressed in his defiant Galvanic Gold Metallic, Gunnar is a high-visibility, high-performance machine that turns every road in Japan into a personal racetrack—but with the comfort to do it all day long.
Gunnar is the bike for those who believe that the journey isn't just about reaching the destination; it’s about how many perfect corners you can find along the way.
The Bavarian Blade
Gunnar thrives on the "perfect" asphalt of the Kyushu mountains. While he can handle the occasional light gravel path to a scenic overlook, his true soul belongs to the winding, technical tarmac of the Yamanami Highway. He’s nimble, telepathic, and incredibly fast.
Why Gunnar is your golden ticket to the South:
The 895cc Heartbeat: With 105 horsepower delivered through a refined parallel-twin, Gunnar offers a punchy, athletic power delivery. It’s a "Goldilocks" engine—more than enough to blast past traffic on the Expressway, yet smooth enough for a low-speed crawl through a seaside village.
Precision Engineering: Being a BMW, Gunnar is packed with intelligent tech. The 6.5-inch TFT display is the best in the business, and the Cornering ABS (ABS Pro) means you can brake with confidence even when leaned over into a tight hairpin in the Iya Valley.
The "Shift Assistant Pro": This is where Gunnar truly shines. The up-and-down quickshifter is seamless, allowing you to fly through the gears without ever touching the clutch, keeping your momentum perfect as you climb toward the Aso crater.
Adaptive Ergonomics: Gunnar offers the upright, commanding view of an adventure bike but the slim, athletic profile of a sportbike. He’s easy to maneuver in the tight parking lots of a Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) but stable as a rock at high speeds.
The Spirit of the Chariot
Gunnar is for the rider who appreciates the finer things: the click of a well-made switch, the roar of a tuned exhaust, and the glint of golden paint under the Japanese sun. He is the ultimate "Sport-Explorist."
Why blend in when you were born to lead? Gunnar is ready for the hunt.
