Meet Koro: The Urban Pathfinder
If the Hunter Cub is a rugged hiking boot, Koro is a high-end outdoor sneaker. This Honda Cross Cub 110 in its iconic yellow (or red!) is the ultimate "lifestyle" adventurer. It’s the bike for the traveler who wants to soak in the atmosphere of Kyoto’s historic districts one minute and explore a bamboo forest path the next.
Koro doesn't take itself too seriously, and that’s exactly why he’s so much fun to ride.
The Master of the "Slow Tour"
In a world obsessed with horsepower, Koro celebrates the joy of the "Slow Tour." With its 110cc engine and leg-shield-free, "naked" look, this bike offers a raw, connected feeling to the environment. You aren't just passing through Shikoku; you’re part of it. You can smell the incense from the temples and the salt from the Seto Inland Sea.
Why Koro is your perfect cultural companion:
The "Legless" Legend: Unlike the standard Super Cub, the Cross Cub ditches the large leg shields for a leaner, tougher look and a more rugged headlight guard. It’s built for "light" trekking—perfect for those paved but narrow coastal roads in Awaji Island.
Featherweight Freedom: At barely over 100 kg, Koro is incredibly easy to handle. If you see a tiny, steep staircase leading to a hidden ocean viewpoint, you can park Koro in a space no bigger than a bicycle. It’s the ultimate "no-stress" machine.
The Retro-Modern Pulse: The 110cc engine is bulletproof and surprisingly punchy for its size. Combined with the semi-automatic 4-speed transmission (no clutch!), it’s the most relaxing way to navigate the "Saka" (slopes) of Nagasaki or the bustling fish markets of Kagoshima.
The Spirit of the Shortcut
Koro is for the rider who values charm over raw speed. He’s the bike that encourages you to take the "Small Path" instead of the main road. Whether you’re cafe-hopping in Fukuoka or scouting for the perfect picnic spot along the Shimanto River, Koro turns every mundane trip into a mini-expedition.
Koro doesn't just get you there; he makes sure you enjoy every single meter of the way.
