Meet Shadow: The Long-Distance Specialist
Model: 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 250 (Black & Silver Edition)
While other bikes are built for the dirt or the city, Shadow was built for the horizon. This 2020 edition features the legendary liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, providing a level of smoothness and stability that is rare in the 250cc class. Dressed in a sleek Black and Silver finish, Shadow is the "gentleman’s choice" for exploring every corner of Japan in total comfort.
The Parallel-Twin Advantage
Shadow’s heart is a twin-cylinder engine designed for effortless miles:
Vibration-Free Touring: Unlike single-cylinder bikes that can feel "buzzy" at high speeds, Shadow’s two cylinders work in harmony to stay smooth. This means less fatigue in your hands and feet after a long day on the Okayama Blue Line.
The Highway Anchor: At 188kg, Shadow is heavier than the SX model. On the windy bridges of the Shimanami Kaido, this extra weight is your best friend—keeping the bike "planted" and steady when the ocean gusts pick up.
Unrivaled Range & Comfort
Shadow is the king of the "One-Tank Trip":
The 17-Liter Super Tank: Combined with incredible fuel efficiency, Shadow boasts a range of over 500km. You can disappear into the deepest parts of the Iya Valley or the Shikoku Karst without ever glancing at your fuel gauge.
Low-Seat Accessibility: With a seat height of only 800mm, Shadow is surprisingly easy to manage. Most riders can easily get both feet flat on the ground, providing total confidence when parking on the uneven slopes of mountain lookouts.
Full-Size Protection: The generous front fairing and windshield create a calm pocket of air, protecting you from the elements and making those long transit sections feel like a breeze.
Why Choose Shadow?
Shadow is for the rider who wants "Big Bike" comfort without the "Big Bike" weight or cost. He is the ultimate partner for a multi-day tour where you want to carry gear, enjoy the scenery, and arrive at your destination feeling fresh.
The destination is far, but with Shadow, the journey is the best part. Ready to disappear?
