Meet Bumblebee: The Modern Legend of Shikoku
Model: Suzuki V-Strom 800DE (Champion Yellow)
If you’ve come to Southern Japan to find the perfect curve, meet your new best friend. Bumblebee is the high-tech athlete of our fleet, a bike designed from the ground up to dominate the steep, winding, and sometimes broken roads that make Shikoku a rider's paradise. Dressed in Suzuki’s iconic Champion Yellow, he’s a high-visibility tribute to the desert-racing legends of the past, rebuilt with the smartest technology of the future.
The Master of the Mountain Climb
Southern Japan is a landscape of vertical extremes, and Bumblebee was born to climb.
Torque That Defies Gravity: Whether you are navigating the technical hairpins of the Iya Valley or the misty ascent to the Shikoku Karst, Bumblebee delivers a massive, steady "grunt" that finds grip where other bikes spin. He makes the steepest mountain passes feel like a flat highway.
Seamless Flow: Forget the clutch and stay in the "flow state." With a professional Quickshifter, you can click through the gears effortlessly as you lean through emerald-green gorges. Your focus stays where it belongs: on the next perfect apex and the stunning mountain vistas.
Explore the "Hidden Japan" Experience
The "DE" stands for Dual Explorer, and Bumblebee earns that title on every kilometer of terrain:
All-Terrain Confidence: When the smooth asphalt of the Shimanami Kaido bridges ends and the rugged, mossy forest tracks of the Tokushima interior begin, Bumblebee doesn't flinch. His large, adventure-ready front wheel allows him to roll over ruts and uneven pavement that would rattle a standard street bike.
Cloud-Like Comfort: From the high-speed Okayama Blue Line to the gravel-strewn UFO Line, Bumblebee’s suspension is pure magic. He soaks up the bumps of Japan’s "Rindo" (forest paths) with a plushness that keeps you fresh, even after 400 kilometers in the saddle.
The Intelligent Scout
Bumblebee is packed with smart systems designed to keep you safe on the edge of the world:
Gravel Mode Intelligence: Navigating the loose stones of a high-altitude ridge? Bumblebee has a specialized "brain" that adjusts to the dirt, giving you the confidence to explore remote shrines and waterfalls like a seasoned pro.
A High-Vis Icon: He isn't just a bike; he’s a statement. Bumblebee looks incredible in your photos, standing out vividly against the deep blue backdrop of the Seto Inland Sea.
Why Choose Bumblebee?
Bumblebee is for the traveler who wants no limits. He offers the rock-solid stability for a long day of island-hopping across the great suspension bridges, but possesses the raw soul to take you deep into the heart of "Secret Japan" where the tour buses can't follow.
The mountains are calling, and Bumblebee is ready to fly. Are you?
